Producing this campaign for Telia was quite literally a party. We worked with DDB on their concept to have drones bake a birthday cake—a process designed to be messy, technically challenging, and absurd. Director Lucas Zanotto led the charge on the chaotic, cream-filled set.

To make the drone-bakery a reality, Martin Gautron engineered custom rigs capable of firing Smarties, lighting candles, and spraying whipped cream. We then brought in the expert pilots from Tilt in Oslo to navigate the machines through the aerial bakery. The campaign gained massive viral traction and won Best Concept at the Drone Film Festival Australia, leading to a festive sequel where the drones were recalibrated to decorate the Telia Christmas tree.
