For Milan Design Week 2026, Studio Cartoons Deluxe worked with the Design Director at Lotus and the event host Konzepthaus on a video installation for Haus of Automotive, as an artist residency.

James Martin made three hand-drawn animations interpreting the exhibition theme, “In Progress”, through a personal lens. They were shown at the main entrance, with music and graphics from the 1991 game Lotus Turbo Challenge 2.
