To recreate the euphoric feeling you get from a sip of Battery, we worked with Anorak to build a range of distinct worlds. Director John Christian (I saw John first) collaborated with various designers to craft these states of mind, from Brikk’s 16-bit platform game to Ole Magnus Saxegård’s lonely fantasy island. We even detoured into a surreal pinball machine with Simen Musæus and a dragon-riding 80s-style Saturday morning cartoon by James Martin.

The result was a collection of graphic profiles that took over screens and city streets across Norway. To make each world feel complete, Henrik Sveen at Ohlogy tweaked the music to match the specific vibe of each universe. It was a process of constant stylistic shifts, keeping the product at the center while letting the animation define the experience. These films allowed us to play with the nostalgia and energy of different genres, ensuring that the "fully charged" feeling had a visual language as varied as the drinkers themselves.
